The Writer: Elaine Bapis

Elaine Bapis has collaborated with Valter for over five years, “typing” while he talks, paying close attention to keeping Valter’s animated voice alive throughout the pages of this book. She has combined her training in cultural history with her culinary background, growing up in a “farm to table” family when gardening and cooking were simply ways of life.

The Design Team

It was a bold move to self-publish Valter of Salt Lake City but made great sense considering the uniqueness of Valter. A personality too large to be at the mercy of the publishing industry, Valter successfully found his niche with the design team whose brilliance matched his passion.
